¿Tiene una forma especial lo que pensamos? ¿Habita en nosotros como un invitado, como una compañía, una mascota enorme y sorprendente? La protagonista de “Mi elefante propio” tiene -por supuesto- un elefante. Que es todo suyo. Este elefante tiene orejas, trompa, colmillos blancos y todo lo que tiene que tener. Que no es poco. Lo importante acá es que éste no es un elefante cualquiera. Se llama Pensamiento y está en su cabeza. A partir de un deseo que no se puede cumplir (porque “el bollo no está para hornos”)

My Own Elephant invites us to look at our thoughts and, if necessary, take them for a walk. -Mauro Zoladz Does what we think have a special shape? Does it dwell within us like a guest, like a companion, a huge and surprising pet? The protagonist of “My Own Elephant” has—of course—an elephant. It's all hers. This elephant has ears, a trunk, white tusks, and everything else it should have. Which is no small thing. The important thing here is that this isn't just any elephant. It's called Thought, and it lives in her head. It all started with a wish that couldn't be fulfilled (because “the opportunity isn't right”).
