En la escuela, la señorita pidió que todos hicieran un dibujo. Una casita allá, un árbol acá.. y un chancho -no un cerdo, un señor chancho- violeta, violetísimo y embarrado, por acá. Una obra de arte. ¿Cómo no va a estar orgullosa la protagonista de este cuento? Pero a la seño, uhm, parece que no le gustó tanto y, sin explicaciones, eligió el dibujo de otra niña para colgar en la pared.

At school, the teacher asked everyone to draw a picture. A little house over there, a tree over there... and a pig—not just any pig, a real pig—purple, very purple, and covered in mud, over here. A work of art. How could the protagonist of this story not be proud? But the teacher, well, it seems she didn't like it that much and, without explanation, chose another girl's drawing to hang on the wall.
