Cada año, en el pueblo de Lago Dormido, la calma chicha se acaba cuando empiezan los preparativos para el concurso de flores. Las señoras del pueblo, desde la esposa del intendente hasta la farmacéutica, se ocupan -y preocupan- por tener la rosa más espectacular, esplendorosa e impactante de la comarca. Pero este año, las cosas no salen como siempre. Todo se descontrola; los celos e intrigas entre las concursantes son cada vez mayores, y hace falta que alguien esclarezca quién está destruyendo, uno tras otro, a los rosales con más chance de ganar el premio.

Every year in the village of Lago Dormido, the peaceful calm ends when preparations begin for the flower contest. The women of the village, from the mayor's wife to the pharmacist, dedicate themselves—and worry—about having the most spectacular, splendid, and striking rose in the region. But this year, things aren't going as usual. Everything spirals out of control; jealousy and intrigue among the contestants intensify, and someone needs to uncover who is destroying, one after another, the rose bushes with the best chances of winning the prize
